Abid Abdulhadi “Abid” Al Helalat owns Mountain Horse Stables and is from a long line of Bedouin horsemen. He is a horse trainer, healer, and farrier and is often sought out by people in the area with horses in need of special care or rehabilitation. He is an accomplished endurance rider and tourist guide and makes the best barbecued chicken.
	Ghemmer A very gentle but strong mare, Ghemmer is a stable favorite. She originally came to us in poor health and afraid of people and her owner wanted her destroyed. We purchased her instead and, with good care and patience, she is healthy and happy and very calm. She has given us two wonderful foals.
	Jowad Jowad is a pure Arabian stallion.
	Dahab We rescued Dahab in early 2025. He started out literally skin and bones and very weak and he spent his first 4 weeks with us with his face in his food trough. He gradually regained strength and a full hand of height and, while he is still a bit small, is healthy and very happy and affectionate.
	Polo Polo loves to go for a ride just about every day. He is also particularly strong and suitable for slightly heavier riders.
	Mercury Ghemmer’s first-born, Mercury, has grown to be a beautiful and responsive horse.
